Direct Payments

Direct payments have been developed to better assist vulnerable individuals and their daily needs.

We at the Money Carer Foundation have a number of clients who receive either a full or a partial direct payment for their individual needs. This service is funded by the local authority and the funds provided are for solely that specific activity. In most cases funds are provided for services such as home care, however there have been occasions where activities such as ice-skating have also been funded through Direct Payment.

Our role in managing our clients affairs is unique to our client’s needs. Our dedicated account managers constantly liaise with local authorities and other representatives to ensure that clients who can benefit from Direct Payments actually do so.
