Its Sad When Someone Dies Alone

Next week I will be spending a day with a colleague sorting through the belongings of one of our older clients that passed away recently. Its a sad story really. The gentleman was referred to The Money Carer Foundation by a local authority that was concerned he may have been financially abused by people close to him.

I am looking forward to sorting things out for our client and ensuring that he has a dignified and respectable funeral. Local charities are helping us and will make good use of his modest belongings for the benefit of the local community. Its just a shame that a man in his early sixties has passed away without anyone close enough to him to arrange his affairs on a more personal level.
