Money To Help Vulnerable Adults in North East England

A £650,000 fund has been set up to help vulnerable adults in the north-east of England into employment or housing. The government and the North East Strategic Health Authority have funded the project, aimed at adults with learning disabilities. It includes an internship programme at a regional hospital and experience in horticulture and landscaping. Advice and support will also be on offer to help adults and their families into settled accommodation.
